Summary: Students learn about the cell division by creating a paper flipbook animation including interphase, mitosis and cytokinesis. This project can easily be converted into a meiosis flip book.

Standards: California - Biology 2a. Students know meiosis is an early step in sexual reproduction in which the pairs of chromosomes separate and segregate randomly during cell division to produce gametes containing one chromosome of each type.
